Alexia Moyer was an FQRSC Postdoctoral Fellow with McGill’s Institute for the Study of Canada and McGill’s Department of English from June 2013 – October 2016. She holds a Ph.D. in études anglaises from Université de Montréal, an MA and BA (honours) in English with French from Western University. She has worked as managing editor of CuiZine: The Journal of Canadian Food Cultures / revue des cultures culinaires au Canada. She is the production editor of Canadian Food Studies / La Revue canadienne des études sur l’alimentation.

Alexia has edited a broad range of writings. Recent projects include the translation (French to English) of the editorial for a special journal issue on the reception of exiles outside metropolitan areas, a copyedit of an ebook on the creation of a digital archive for an Athens-based collective of new-media artists, chapter summaries for an edited volume on the writings of Elena Ferrante, a stylistic edit of a translated historical novel.

All this to say, Alexia has a keen interest in writing and in helping others to find le mot juste.
